In January and February 2015, the cities of Excelsior and Greenwood approved the establishment of the St. Alban’s Bay Lake Improvement District (SABLID) – the first LID on Lake Minnetonka. The SABLID has taxing authority with specific duties to manage aquatic invasive species. The SABLID is made up of property owners who have access rights to St. Alban’s Bay. The SABLID is governed by a Board elected by property owners who live within the SABLID. All SABLID property owners will be notified of the October SABLID Annual Meeting via US mail. If you are a SABLID property owner interested in serving on the SABLID Board, the candidate deadline is the first Tuesday in June.
